This was purely a guess and, as it happens, I was out my a bit.
Here is my current list of words that really like.

This week you will be drafting your Donnie Darko essays and then writing a good and final copy. I expect that this will take us all of our five sessions together this week.
How does the Head Over Heels sequence in Donnie Darko tell the viewer about the characters and themes in this story?

This week, we will start off on Monday talking about what makes a good talk. If you happen to miss class, you might like to look through this brief presentation.
After fleshing out those ideas, you will be writing and presenting a two-minute talk called My Family.
The idea is to do all the right things and to avoid common errors.
On Wednesday, we will be working more on our language analysis skills, particularly as they relate to persuasive language. I expect that I will bring in some news articles and you will read them and identify the following.
The author
The publication details
The contention (this will be our main focus)
On Thursday, we will do something else about this type of language analysis. I just hadn’t decided exactly what that will be yet.

On Monday, and I may have never mentioned this before, you will have a test about rhetorical techniques. There will be twenty-three questions and fifty possible points. You will have forty minutes to complete this test.
After that, you will start writing up your rhetorical analysis of your chosen pop song.
On Tuesday, we will discuss what makes an effective talk.
On Wednesday, you will complete writing your rhetorical analysis. If we have time, some of you might even present your talks. I know that most of you don’t like speaking in front of the class, but speaking in front of people is an important skill.
