As I turned the car towards the mountains I said, “I don't know what to do." He just looked out his window, then spoke out, “we'll work it out when the time comes.” After he had pulled the car over to the side of the road, he got out, and said, “just keep driving, just be careful, and don’t trust anyone.” I know that he thought that it was good advice, but it didn’t make me feel any better; I drove on.

While I was driving, he was making more calls and telling the others where I was. Barry would be especially interested and I knew that. I figured that he would do it, I drove faster it was way too fast, and way over the limit.

As I approached the city, I had this feeling that I had arrived to late. I could see the flames coming from the house, I could hear the distant sirens and I knew that this was not good news. Because of the smoke, I couldn’t see the peoples faces. I searched for them all the same, they must be in there somewhere.

“Barry” I called out, he turned and smiled. I knew everything would be okay, and then the house exploded!
