Red Space Rocket

I have been posting a new topic for every school day so far. However, I only see each class three times. So, from now on, I think I’ll just use three topics each week. This way, you’ll all get the same topics in the same order.

3. Dumb Things

This week, we are writing in the third person for all our pieces. This means no “I” and lots of “he”, “she” and “Barry”. I also don’t want to directly tell the reader anything about your characters. Have details about them emerge as they do things.

For example, “Bob was thirty-six years old, six feet tall and had red hair” is right out of the question. Instead you might write, “As he squinted into the sun, Bob brushed his red hair out of his eyes”.
