1. Intended to instruct.
2. Morally instructive.
3. Inclined to teach or moralize excessively.

I had it in my head that didactic meant seeing the world only is absolutes and it turns out I was quite wrong. Now I need to find a word that actually means that since it is something I do like to bandy about.
