I have no advance knowledge of the last book but all the same I believe that Snape will turn out to be on the good side of the fight. I didn’t think of this myself. Rather a very clever woman I knew explain about why his actions at the end of the Half Blood Prince were absolutely necessary and why Snape was so angry about Harry calling him a coward.

Tomorrow morning, of course, I’ll be off to get a copy of the book and once my partner has read it then I’ll see if this theory stands up or falls down.
